Watching “Spanish For Your Nanny” makes me think of “The Bridge At San Luis Rey”. I think a documentary showing how and why each of the actors came to be in this film would be enlightening and entertaining.
Many of my workers are Cubans..and although they claim they have trouble with English, they understand plenty…this is a funny video..
anglo’s need to learn to listen and speak Espanol..just a fact of life. We speak Canadaian don’t we ?
Very funny indeed! Typical attitude of high society women who employ nannys in their homes. These women treat their dogs and cats with more respect than they do these hard-working people.
The video reminds me of the bilingual show, “Que Pasa USA” that was filmed and produced in South Florida in the 70s.
@Jay How’s it insulting to you? Or are you just like the dumb women in the video? I can’t believe that people think they can justify kicking native americans (keeping in mind that Mexicans are more or less natives) from their land, claiming it, then saying they have to speak our language? Seems like a mighty good deal for one side.
How about, “It’s not my fault you’re pregnant and pushing Madison in the stroller gives you vertigo. You people should just all be sterilized as soon as you hit puberty.”
Or “I don’t care how long you’ve been with this family. You eat my food again and I’m sending you back to El Salvador.”
Or “El Salvador, Belize, Mexico …. really, what’s the difference?”
Those would be of so much value to me! Ta ta, I have to go get my nails done. Polishing my small mountain of jewels and getting in and out of the helicopter has positively done in my pink-and-whites!
I absolutely ADORE this video. These housewives must be from Orange County, CA! Although I am German, I grew up in Mexico City and speak fluent spanish. Working for a car dealer here in sunny SoCal, I have watched many of the Spanish-speaking employees being treated badly by management. I think some Spanish lessons at the dealership for management are in order!
¡Qué chistoso! Me disfruté mucho su pelicula. Should be required viewing by all those folks who say “send ‘em back” all the while they employ undocumenteds at peanut wages.

I’M FROM LATIN AMERICA AND I JUST LOVED THIS.
NOW I WOULD REALLY, REALLY LOVE A VIDEO FROM THE NANNY’S POINT OF VIEW. COME ON GUYS, THIS IS SO MUCH FUN.

You guys are great! I loved this video. This is my first time on this site…i’ll be browsin’ for a while here.
So stupid. And insulting. The nannies should be learning how to speak English so they can better communicate with their employers.

ay Dios mio, perfecto y verdad. Pues, quisiera instrucciones para mis jardineros, como “did you steal my oranges?”
Beyond brilliant and hilarious! A valuable comedic commentary on the decay of “white culture” in America.

By the way, there is a wonderful movie called “El Norte”, that should be required viewing for these bi@%&es.
Spanish for your Nanny [humor]…
Gracioso video de clases de Español para poder comunicarte con tu "criada", no hace falta entender el inglés hablado para "pillarlo"…
A Day Without A Mexican would be another great movie for them to watch.

Could be the new Monty Python.
